With Rainey 1st XV on AIL hiatus for a week, all attention turned to the 2nd XV as they welcomed Armagh II to Hatrick Park for the latest round of the Seconds League. Rainey Vs Armagh fixtures have often been hotly-contested affairs down the years, and this encounter proved to be no exception, with the visitors eventually emerging 24-32 victors.

Omagh II entertained Rainey II at Mellon Park in the latest round of the Seconds League. Although Rainey started well, they eventually crashed to a 37-20 defeat as the Tyrone side eased away in the second-half.
Junior Shield Group 2 4th November 2023

Rainey II travelled to Monaghan last weekend for the second group match in the Junior Shield. Arriving just 30mins before kick-off, they started slowly, but improved as the game wore on, eventually running out 24-26 winners.

In perfect conditions, Rainey II welcomed Queens II to Hatrick Park on Saturday. They had the better of the early exchanges, with No8 Bell and centre Kearns prominent in drives for the line, before out-half Pollock slotted over a penalty to open the scoring.
