A Night at the Races – Supporting Rainey RFC Club Development
Rainey Rugby Football Club is delighted to invite members, supporters, and the wider community to A Night at the Races, taking place in the club on Friday 10th April, with racing getting underway at 8:30pm.
This fun and interactive fundraising event is being organised by Gerry & Sean McCann, with all proceeds going towards Rainey RFC club development, alongside support for our three chosen charities.
What to Expect on the Night
A Night at the Races is a brilliant club evening that combines friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and a great atmosphere.
The races use wooden horses fixed to a length of string and a plastic pipe. Each jockey races by winding in their horse. The faster you wind, the faster your horse moves. Simple, competitive, and great fun for everyone involved.
We’re also delighted to have GerryPower Bookmakers in attendance on the night, adding to the excitement and authenticity of the racing experience.
Sponsorship Opportunities
There are a number of sponsorship options available for individuals, families, and local businesses who would like to support the event:
-
Race Sponsor – £150 (8 available)
-
Horse Sponsor – £20 (64 available)
Sponsorship is a great way to support the club, get involved in the night, and contribute directly to both club development and our chosen charities.
Get Involved
We’re also looking for jockeys on the night, so if you fancy taking part in the racing, this is your chance to get involved and have some fun for a great cause.
